It’s not surprising to hear that there’s a good number of people suffering from adult acne. That must be tough, because almost all of us in one way or another went through acne in our adolescent years. While we expect acne to be gone by the time we are well into adulthood, the not so [...] The only thing that is constant in this world is change. Be that as it may, a lot of people take any kind of change as simply disruptive and an unwelcoming idea. I may now be one of those people to some degree. When I was younger, I welcomed change just like changing outfits. Testament to [...] When a new year unfolds, my husband and I always sit down and map out our vacation plans for the year except last year when right off the bat we knew we were not headed anywhere due to our ongoing project. This year, we think we will have some leeway if our time line as [...] Our holiday cards are still perched on the desk. This year, although, I ordered personalized holiday cards, I made sure that the holiday greeting (text) is going to be handwritten by me. I also have the boxed handcrafted cards that we bought from a wholesale store but I don’t feel like sending them this year [...] It’s the first time that it happened! And I’m quite proud of myself as I found myself in the gym, four times this week at 50 minutes each of the day. And as you may have guessed it, I now have sore legs from slaving myself in the treadmill and stepper. I’ve always did fast walking [...] It has been a long time since I last heard from a family friend. Ever since they moved to Indiana, I can count on my fingers the times that I have spoken to her on the phone. Today, we made up for that long silence as we were on the phone for almost two hours catching [...] When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. That is an old adage that I’ve heard all of my adult life. Nowadays, when the economy is in the dumps, homeowners are losing their homes and there is an onslaught of pink slips served to the working class, I think it’s about time we start [...] |
