Our weekends lately have been pretty unusual. Saturdays are mostly spent out (instead of idyllic weekends), as we still have no clue if we will really find a way to complete our big project. All I can say is that, as of now, even with a very high inventory, none of them ’speak’ to us, [...] The end of 2009 is closing in on us. How time flies! I just had a great time with my husband on his recent two weeks of vacation time from work. Although, we didn’t go anywhere far ( not even to one of those cheap hotels in Panama City beach Fl ), we accomplished a lot [...] My Tuesdays have become ‘take Cordie for a spin day.’ As some of you may know, I’m pretty much regimented in the sense that I have a specific chore to accomplish each workdays of the week. My weekends officially start on Fridays when I’m totally off from any household chore including cooking except baking. Well, [...] It’s been pretty hectic for the past week and a half. With all the long driving and the traffic jams that beset our journeys on the road, it’s been fun so far. A few more days to go and my husband will be back to work. No, we’re not on the roads for joy rides or [...] When my husband was off from work this past two Thursdays and Fridays, it gave me the excuse to indulge on heavy brunch dishes. In spite of the inclement weather, we managed to still head out to brunch most days. Instead of heading out a little farther as originally planned, the rain made us shelve [...] With the incoming two days off from work of the man of the house, that means we are looking into having another long weekend. I’m making sure that my major house chores are all done before Thursday, so the freedom to enjoy the four day weekend will be maximized. So what’s in the horizon? Nothing is [...] Yesterday marked the start of my driving objective – to drive and use the car more frequently.
