I have one big wish, and this I’m keeping from my husband. Why? Because he might think I’m going crazy. I have been talking to him the past few days about different places to visit in Europe and he seem to be open to the idea, but not that enthusiastic for now. If one prefers to lease as compared to outrightly purchase, that’s totally one’s prerogative.” I was totally appalled about the behavior of an acquaintance of mine. I say acquaintance, because this person is not really a friend. [...] Yes, I found out about this last Saturday when I dropped by the Louis Vuitton store on 5th Avenue. I have been wondering why Mandara in the Epi leather line is not available in the eluxury site where LV’s are being sold online. So what does this mean? I asked the associate about it, and she [...] I got one whole 10 lbs. turkey sitting in my freezer. It’s been there since November last year. I’m just waiting for the colder weather to set in and I will try my hands on roasting a turkey for the first time. Why do I have this turkey for that long? I was just too [...] It must have been embedded on my mind before retiring last night, that today is NO COOKING day for me, that’s why I woke up late. Yes, the husband’s not having dinner at home tonight, as he is attending a mid-week party at the Twins Irish Pub on 34th & 9th. What’s with this Wall Street [...] It was a busy day today. Well, busy simply because in as much as I wanted to wake up earlier than the usual time, I wound up waking up at 11:30 a.m. It didn’t matter that the alarm went off, and that Frank had already called on the phone 10 times. I slept through all [...] Today is hubby’s first day back to work after 2 .5 weeks of vacation. Which means, I’m also back to working here at home. The thing is, it’s kind of hard to get back into the old routine because when my husband is off from work, I’m also off from one of my daily chores [...] Just wanted to share some little known facts about New York real estate: Prices of homes (this includes all types of residences) have significantly dropped in the last 6 months. This means, the value of homes if they were on the market right now are also affected. |
