These goodies from Dean & Deluca are just but a few of the many ‘not so great’ choice of snacks that I have been nibbling on lately. It’s slowly becoming an addiction, that even when I’m in the middle of doing my chores and online tasks (i.e. while comparing Wholesale Insurance life insurance rates) I can’t [...] Nothing beats real Italian pizza while in Italy. I should know, I have tasted and savored them all of three weeks when we visited Italy in the Fall of 2008. The next best thing is authentic New York pizza from an Italian pizzeria. I’m not referring to chain pizza, of course. I didn’t use [...] In the very early morning of the 14th, I made a frantic call to cancel our food delivery for the whole week. It was absolutely a must for me to do that because I didn’t want to waste the food and money of course, as we have already pre-paid the services for the whole month. [...] Food for two????? Well… If you’re with someone with a voracious appetite, the above spread of food for dinner is not much of a surprise. But it was probably a little too much for the waiter that served our table, as indicated by the impish smile as he was taking the order. Good thing, [...] It’s been ages since we last dined at this landmark: As always, we had to deal with the perennial issue with parking, we had to wait to be seated but it was the same old, good Italian food we always love. The stream of people coming to dine at the restaurant as well as pizza lovers [...] The trek to Jollibee as I wrote previously was very much anticipated by my husband. I promised to share here what my husband ordered and the dishes we brought home. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you very well know by now that I’m married to a foodie, so don’t be shock [...] Yes folks, this is my husband’s long time dream: to finally go to Jollibee and meet Jollibee here in New York. That dream has been elusive for quite sometime because when it opened in February, the place was too crowded, and with the very long lines outside the restaurant, we thought it was ridiculous to [...] When my husband was off from work this past two Thursdays and Fridays, it gave me the excuse to indulge on heavy brunch dishes. In spite of the inclement weather, we managed to still head out to brunch most days. Instead of heading out a little farther as originally planned, the rain made us shelve [...] |
