My Kind Of Summer

At such an early age, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to go to summer music school. I come from a musically inclined family and most of my summers when I was in grade school was spent at a music school.

Having said that, I was not always thrilled. Having a Mom like mine, she ran the show as though she was the one going to school hence, I did not always have the say which instrument I really wanted to learn how to play. I’ve always wanted to learn to play an acoustic guitar, but that was one instrument that I was never given the chance to learn how to play. I can still vividly remember seeing my cousin while stringing an acoustic guitar. He played it so well and was so passionate with his music.

Those were the days. If only I can turn back the hands of time I will welcome it with open arms. There’s nothing compared to those days of innocence and carefree life. Life filled with songs and music around close friends and family who I treasure for the rest of my life.
