Sometime in early May of this year, we dined at Papa Leone. At that time the resto was still rated A.
We enjoyed and loved the food as always. Classic Italian fare is what they specialize in. We’ve always gone to our basic must-go-to restaurants like Papa Leone whenever we run out of new places to try.
Recently, we decided to go back to Papa Leone but quickly activated ‘trixie’s’ reverse gear when we noticed something right by the door. The Sanitary grade is now B. My husband and I strongly agree that we shouldn’t eat at restaurants that are rated B. The A rating alone means the resto may have 10 violations at the most, so how much more a B or a C? We’re so lucky that NY sanitation has this grading system implemented. We certainly want to know how our fave restos fare as far as sanitation is concerned.
