Does anyone read this blog? If there are/is, I apologize for the lack of update. It’s been quite hectic here in my part of the world. It’s a good kind of hectic by the way, so I really don’t mind.
Since I haven’t had the chance to write here for a long time, I now find myself backtracking. Let’s see how my memory will fare.
Sometime in July we dined at a Malaysian restaurant named Nyonya. Malaysian cuisine has its own nuances but my Asian palate agrees with me. It goes the same way with my husband who has through the years adapted so well. Being married for 15 years made that possible.
Nyonya’s interior tries to transport you to Malaysia. I’m not that sure though if it did. In my humble opinion, they need to work at it a little bit more.
The food is as good as it gets. We started with homemade Roti Canai aptly defined as crispy pancake with curry dipping sauce and is considered as Malaysia’s all time favorite
The rest of the dishes we ordered were all pescetarian dishes. Please bear with me because I can no longer recall their actual names except of course the hot and spicy crab (but we ordered it mild) and the salted fish with Chinese broccoli. We enjoyed the dishes a lot.
Dessert was at Starbucks (what else is new?). As you very well know by now, my husband loves his espresso.
