So what else is new? Yes, Asian cuisine rules! Hence, last Saturday, we tried Top Thai Restaurant for the first time. This quaint, hole in the wall Thai restaurant packs in a lot of stars. Don’t let the unassuming, tiny space deter you from dining in because you will surely miss a good Thai resto.

We started with Somtum salad (green papaya,tomato, peanuts and chili in Thai-style lime dressing) and it was good.
Thai iced tea, anyone? Surprisingly, it agreed with my palate despite the warning from the waitress that it may be too sweet for my taste.
These Crispy Veggie Spring rolls with plum sauce was another good pick.
Long green beans with shrimp and mussels in Thai basil brown sauce was a nice addition to the meal.
And, what’s Thai dinner without Pad Thai? So, we just had to have it too.
Starbucks rounded up our Saturday night date. This time, I opted for shaken iced tea lemonade while my husband went for 5 shots of espresso, as usual. Lately, I’m drawn to their cake pops. I figured, it must be less calories because of their diminutive size. I’ve gained quite a few pounds lately so I need to start counting calories…..
