We were originally headed to the Vietnamese restaurant a month ago, but we took a detour on our way there when I spotted a newly opened Thai resto. We surmised, it’s fairly new because if our recollection does not fail us, the location used to be a Ramen House.
Indeed everything seem to be new. The furnishings as well as china and silverware are in mint condition. The modern zen interior is so appropriate. Everything looks perfect.
And the food? It’s more than decent. Admittedly, it does not compare to the Thai restos in our permanent must-go-to but it remains to be seen. The fact that it’s only a couple of weeks old when we dined, there may be some improvements in the future.
Hot tea was served lukewarm. Granting their electric gadget was not working just yet, how about just the plain good old way of brewing tea to cater to the customer? After getting their attention however, they remedied the goof.
What more than make up for what’s lacking is the service. Yes, service was impeccable. Although, it pays to go back to see if it stayed the same as the volume of diners increase.
