Mexican cuisine is beginning to agree with my palate, as well as the husband. The good thing about us is that we are willing to try and try. And we keep trying (more than enough) until we finally make a decision.

The most that I can take was tacos in the old days. All that has changed the past year or so because I was willing to expand my horizon and I didn’t give up on it. Now, I can take anything Mexican for as long as the spicy seasoning is tempered. My husband seem to have embraced the same path.

It was the last Saturday of summer when we tried Ay Caramba! one more time. I wanted to bid adieu to summer while I was clad in pink almost from head to toe, and these magnetic copper bracelets. It turned out to be one great dining experience, never mind that I was once a Mexican food snob.

This quaint Mexican resto in Hewlett has regular diners that they seem to be so comfy with the wait staff. We’ll probably get to that level if we keep going. However, the resto is not really that close to home although, we frequent the area because we’ve grown to love the Five Towns in Long Island.

If you think orange and red does not exactly match – think again. I love the execution!

I’m sure this is just the beginning of more dining trips to this restaurant. We’ll just have to wait awhile though. As you may have surmised, Mr. Winter did an early appearance this season and it sure puts a damper to our mobility.
