One weekend, we found ourselves undecided what type of food we wanted to feast on. The creatures of habit that we are, we agreed to go for Japanese food. The bigger issue though was, which restaurant do we head to?
We have our permanent must-go-to restos for each cuisine. But every once in a while we check out new places and the adventurous duo that we are, we always try new ones with the end in mind – so we have more resto options.
Shinjuku is relatively new. That evening it was bustling with patrons. The interior of the resto is nothing spectacular but I must say that the service was really good. However, we were not that pleased with the food.
Remember now, husband and I love Japanese food so much that if it’s permissible we can eat this type of food everyday. Without having to be that specific, we both agreed that this was the first and the last time we’re dining there. Something is missing. We just couldn’t pinpoint what it is.
