I have every intention of making bibimbap at home but I haven’t really taken it to heart just yet. This signature Korean dish is one of my husband’s favorite, so he takes out food from an uptown (Manhattan) Korean resto twice a month at the most. He’s such a big fan that two platters that’s enough to feed four people is always the norm.
The brown rice is not part of the platter. Since I make only brown rice at home, my husband takes every chance he can get to indulge in white rice when it’s presented to him.
I have to admit that the restaurant in upper Manhattan makes real good Korean food. In spite of the fact that it is quite a task to get to the place, the trek is well worth it for my foodie husband. He takes it like a scenic ride and make do with seeing banners and signs similar to something like – ‘ bal harbour homes for sale here ‘ on his way there.
