In an effort to have more veggies in our diet, I have embraced the idea of making salads every single day. I make sure that I buy several varieties of salad ingredients (romaine lettuce, spring greens, arugula, endive, baby spinach, baby kale, avocado etc.) for our week’s consumption, so that it doesn’t get too boring. Nuts and dried fruits are always added to the mix to enhance the combination. More often than not, I make my own salad dressing from scratch. However, lately, I ran out of new ideas for salad dressing and I took the plunge and bought bottled salad dressing from Trader Joe’s.
These flavors are great. I actually like the Champagne Pear Vinaigrette better than the Cilantro dressing. Currently, we are trying out another flavor and as it is, so far, Champagne Pear Vinaigrette is still the best. Apart from TJ’s Salad dressings, I also love the Japanese Ginger salad dressing from a couple of brands which I source from the health food store.
