The Saturday that we revisited Hana Sushi, it was really not our first choice. We went to check out a Vietnamese restaurant but we backed away. FYI, within New York City, restaurants are graded (A being the highest and C the lowest) based on their sanitary conditions. As soon as we got to the Vietnamese resto, we marched backed into the parking lot because the place is graded C.
Off we went to Hana Sushi. And as usual we were not disappointed. They still serve the same quality Japanese cuisine and the service is still the same. Every once in a while, my husband takes out food and it’s been months since we last dined in.
It’s comforting to know that we have restos like this that we can truly count on for last minute changes. This scenario made us realize that before we head out to a restaurant, we should always check on their sanitary grade online. This way, we are not wasting our time and it saves us from aggravation and disappointment.
