It’s been months since our last visit to this restaurant. And in spite of the fact that we’ve dined here several times within the last two years, I haven’t written about it here on my blog.
Our first experience at this resto was during the graduation party of my niece. This restaurant is not that big, and when you reserve for a party, they enclose a certain area of the dining hall so you have the privacy. We were impressed with the food, needless to say, and that is why we’ve been going back and forth within the two years that we’ve discovered it.
Cafe Formaggio is an Italian restaurant on Long Island. They serve traditional Italian dishes. It is imperative to make your reservation because they have their cult following and walking-in and thinking you’re going to get lucky and get a table is nearly impossible. You’ve got to be really lucky to get one. I really have nothing bad to say about this place except for the fact that my husband and I don’t feel too good with the exclusive Valet Parking in their parking area. We kind of wish that patrons should have the option to avail of the Valet or self-park. Nevertheless, we still dine there and we always park outside the resto’s parking lot. We’re leery about Valet Parking. Need I say more?
So yeah, we ate a lot (bwahahaha). There was no room for dessert while at the resto. I’ll just let the photos do the talking.
But who says, we skipped dessert altogether? Not in our wildest dreams! Not on a beautiful weekend, anyway. We had to split this humungous cupcake from Riesterer’s. Yum!
