I cleared out our kitchen eight months ago from the many junks (unhealthy food choices) that I’ve grown accustomed to buying. It was tough parting with the many indulgent foods that used to be staples. Most of the unopened goods were donated to the nearby church including the baking ingredients that I’ve collected, so I only wasted the opened goods which was sadly trashed.
That being said, my husband and I have turned semi-vegan. Most of the dishes that I prepare are plant based. I buy organic produce, condiments and snacks. It’s difficult to source for organic on some items so there are exceptions.
Dining out occasionally is now our norm. And when we do, having a voracious eater for a husband, you can just imagine how he ‘pigs-out’ when he gets the chance.
