A recent unplanned trek to Ikea on Long Island brought us to their restaurant on-site. I tell you, it is really a good idea having the restaurant on-site because many shoppers who are done with shopping, and would want to grab a bite makes it very convenient for them so as not to leave the store with growling tummies.
We didn’t buy anything. As I mentioned, it was an unplanned trip. We were just driving around to put more mileage on Cordie. The food was decent. With very affordable prices (sorry, I can’t recall price for each), husband and I found the dishes just right. The apple cake was awesome! It was not overwhelmingly sweet. We actually didn’t know what meal it was because we were seated to eat by 3:00 p.m.
salad for each
my swedish meatballs with pasta and bread
husband’s swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes cream sauce and lingonberries ( $2.99)
apple cake for each ($1.99 per slice)
