It’s an unusually quiet and serenely relaxing Sunday here on my side of town. With a tall glass of freshly brewed iced tea nicely perched on the kitchen table, I kept myself busy with the TV remote on one hand and did what I’m used to doing when I’m lazy – channel surf.
I can’t believe it, I discovered tons of TV channels that I have never viewed ever. We must have at least 500 channels total, most of them I didn’t even know they exists. It was fascinating, I also saw various TV commercials that are fun, boring, highly informative and what not, and even an ad for a Raleigh business lawyer.
Highly productive day, I must say, in spite of it feeling so idyllic. I consider it productive because for the first time ever, I was able to add a lot of new TV channels on my Favorites tab. Now, I can just scroll through and have the viewing pleasure whenever I have ample time. Like I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m not really fond of watching TV, so this day was a rarity. Who knows, it can be the dawn of a new found love for TV viewing.
With a very quiet house (husband is slaving himself at the gym), I think I can take a nap. This will be a first too if it happens, as I’m known to be not a nap kind of gal. I don’t know how to nap. When I’m out of the bed for the day, my eyes are wide open until it’s time to retire at night.
