Even with my very limited knowledge about technology, I can say it with certainty that not one of those Database Designer Jobs would have been a perfect fit for yours truly, and I can tell you why.
First of all, I have very little interest on anything technical. Second, I simply was not born to fill a job in the technical field. That is the plain and simple truth. Although, I was schooled completing degrees in Science and Medical field, I wound up in Sales and Marketing. Don’t you find that kind of strange?
I was probably one of those exceptions. You know, the type who does something out of their comfort zone and do it real good. Not to toot my own horn, but I believe that I excelled in a field that I didn’t go to school for, but I was really trained good more than enough to deliver the bottom line and then some.
Those were the days. The many stressful days while breathing the air of a highly pressurized environment. Sometimes I miss those days but more often than not, I don’t.
I love my new life. Though I’m no longer getting dolled up every single day, I am very comfortable with my new, relaxed and quiet lifestyle. God is so good. I can’t ask for more.
