Summer is not officially over on my side of the world but feel-wise it is. It’s time to store those Adirondack chairs if you live in an area where four seasons exists. I feel sad to bid goodbye to summer because it is my favorite season no matter how stifling the heat may be at times. I love the upbeat mood and the sunshiny days that envelopes my skin every summer season.
The parks around here however, although the people will eventually abandon those park benches as it gets frigid cold, they will be there again when spring and summer comes around. They are built to last and withstand the wrath and fury of extreme weather here in New York. Only well made outdoor furniture of course go through seasons.
I envy those who live in temperate zones. Year-round they can peruse their outdoor furniture while relaxing in their decks. Picnic tables on that side of the world are permanent fixtures outside whether in private homes or public parks.
For now, I have no choice but start dealing with the changing temps. Even dressing up nowadays is like a game. You need to be careful, and that you are dressed right if you don’t want to lose and have the sniffles.
Let the cold season begin and bring it on in its full glory. Let it be cold now, because the sooner it comes, the sooner we can get over and done with it.
