I used to make my own homemade chocolate hazelnut spread a.k.a. Nutella, but I stopped. With my Vitamix and my trusty food processor, I used to have the patience in prepping fresh hazelnuts and all, but the past few months, laziness got the better of me. Blame that on my allergic rhinitis, I can no longer slave myself in the kitchen. Cleaning up the Vitamix and food processor later on is always a big job.
Since Nutella is a staple in my pantry and if I can’t make the homemade version, what’s the next best thing?
Loadful of 26.5 oz. Nutella! Even if that is all I have to buy at Costco when we go shopping, our membership more than pays for the savings I get because I buy a lot of them when we go. It comes in twos, and since we hoard like there is no tomorrow when we go, we don’t shop there as often as most people. We’re only two, and we probably go there five times per year at the most.
Yes, Nutella is my breakfast staple. I can never run out of many different ways to incorporate it in my breakfast. Do you like it too?
