Our weekend meals starting Friday nights more often than not, are normally at a restaurant. If I don’t feel like heading out, my husband always heads to his choice of resto for that particular weekend, and he brings home food. I’m in-charge of planning and providing for our weekday meals, and he is in-charge of our weekend meals. Fair enough, right?
A quick trek to Papa Leone for dinner always satisfies. With the numerous starters that the resto serves, before your entree is served, you are already belly-full (lol).
spaghetti with eggplant parmigiana
linguini puttanesca (linguini with tomatoes, garlic, basil, black olives, capers and anchovies)
Obviously, there is no room for dessert at the restaurant. So we head home and after a few hours, with a satisfying cup of tea, we fill our bellies with:
Citarella’s Key Lime Pie. You should try their version.I love, love, love it. I’m not a fan of Key Lime Pies but this one gets my seal of approval.
