The kind of human interaction that sales jobs bring is something that is missing in other jobs. People working in the medical field also interacts with people but it is more often than not on a different level.
In sales, you either have a positive or a negative response. In the medical field, almost always, the response of the patient is positive thus, the rate of success is a lot higher. It is in the sales person’s ability to turn the negative response into something positive that makes their job very fulfilling. They get that kind of “high” feeling when they close a sale or a deal and heave a sigh of relief from being able to address the main objection and successfully bag the deal.
A career in sales is not easy, but it is rewarding and fulfilling. It is however noted time and time again that not everyone can be a good salesman. It has been proven though, that for as long as an individual is willing to learn and have the necessary attitude and what it takes to be successful in his/her chosen field, sooner than later, they can hone that acquired skill.
