In my efforts to get fit this year, I recently joined a gym. This gym has just about everything, including a pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, workout equipment, and weights. They also offer group exercise classes, which I really enjoy. These classes meet a couple of times a week and range from everything from kickboxing to yoga, pilates, ab exercises and group cycle classes.
My favorite one of these classes is the group cycle class. It meets five times a week at different times to work with different schedules. It lasts about an hour, and it is a great workout. I usually go to the early morning class, around 6:30am. Before I head out, I set my alarm (ADT home security) because I will head straight to work after the group cycle class. Then I head to the gym, change clothes, and pick out a bike. This class is a great workout because it it low-impact but still leaves me breathless by the end. The instructor tells you how much to increase your resistance and how fast to go. If you’re looking for a great calorie-burning group fitness class, group cycle is the way to go. By participating in a group cycle class three times per week, you will begin to gain muscle and get fit fast.
