Early on in my adult life, I have always believed in the relevance of life insurance. That stemmed from the fact that I was a product of parents who believed in it so much, that all of their children were insured since infancy.
Hence, when I was already capable of acquiring an adult life insurance of my own at the age of 23, I went for it and never looked back. As it is, my life insurance policy that has since been totally paid up is one of the best investments that I have put under my belt while I was a single woman. I have since changed my beneficiaries two times, as there have been many changes in my life in the past fifteen years. At the rate I’m going, who knows, I may be changing it again. Being married and childless required me to do two revisions on my listed beneficiaries so far, and as the years go by with new people that have become significant in my life may just push me to do another revision in the near future.
As we all know, having a life insurance policy in place is not all about having peace of mind. It’s about loving the people whom you love the most.
