One of my skin savers that came in handy in the recent winter is an oil named Maracuja oil. It is touted to be a ‘pure miracle’ as it came from a rare Amazonian fruit ( passion fruit) that is harvested only once a year which is then hand pressed sans the use of heat in order to guarantee the maximum amount of essential fatty acids and vitamins. There is no other ingredient on this bottle of oil; it’s pure maracuja oil.
The oil is recommended for all skin types:
- Dry Skin types will experience ultra hydration while EFAs rebuild and repair the skin.
- Oily skin will experience instant absorption and the oil actually contracts skin’s natural oils so you aren’t left feeling greasy or oily.
- Dull skin will appear brighter and more radiant thanks to the rich vitamin C formula while EFAs, a requirement for healthy skin cells that the body can’t reproduce, help to infuse life back into the skin.
- Sensitive/Acne-Prone-Redness/Rosacea will benefit from the antioxidants which will help sooth and heal skin without causing breakouts.
It hydrated and moisturized my hands and I never had dry cuticles throughout the long, dry winter. It smells so fresh and a couple of drops is all it took to feel the effect on my skin. The good results that I experienced, plus an awesome packaging, makes Maracuja oil a staple in my winter beauty arsenal from this year’s winter onwards.
