If I was building a home now, I will consider pergo flooring provided I’m aware of all the pertinent information about it. As you know, I’m a traditionalist and knowing that laminate flooring is an alternative to hardwood flooring, I will have an open mind and look into it and ensure that I’m making a well informed decision.
The most that I know about laminate is that it can be acquired at a fraction of the cost of hardwood material. Apart from that, installation is easy and fast and that you can transform the look of any room in your house in one weekend. The most alluring feature to me is the fact that it is low maintenance.
I’ve seen laminate floors all over, and they seem to really mimic the look of hardwood. Thus, considering it as an economical alternative is a probably a practical route.
