I’m your typical tech idiot kind of gal, and that is the reason why I shy away from buying electronic gadgets. In terms of gadgets, I only have what I absolutely NEED unlike all the other girly stuff (i.e. cosmetic, skin care, shoes, clothes, handbags, jewelries, among others) wherein I have more than what I will ever need in my lifetime. What I lack in electronic gadgets, I more than make up for it on the things that matters to me the most.
Knowing what you know now, you should not be surprised if you hear me say that I will probably never have to read up on any ipod touch review ever.
It’s amazing how the iPod has gone a long way. I remember in 2005 after the release of the first generation iPod Shuffle in January of that year, an acquaintance then who is now a close friend (you know who you are, I know you are lurking right now *lol *(give me a buzz later)) gifted me an iPod Shuffle on my birthday. She later confessed that because she knew I was fond of music, that was her basis for the gift. Only later on did she realize that I prefer listening to our Bose audio system when I’m home and when I’m on the go I don’t really care listening to music, I’d rather read. Of course, it’s different if I’m mobile in the car, as our car’s audio system is good enough for me. With the 6-disc in dash and XM satellite radio with a 6 speaker system to boot, I figure, who needs an iPod? Needless to say, the iPod Shuffle went to my niece who incidentally misplaced and lost it.
I have to admit though that sometimes I feel ridiculous and left out when I’m around my nieces and nephews. Not knowing the latest in electronics always gets me the subject of their crazy jokes but I really don’t care. So what if I’m the last to know?
