I pre-ordered Suze Orman’s latest book : The Money Class a few weeks ago, and it was delivered last Wednesday as expected.
This weekend, I planned on dropping every reading material that I’m currently on, just so I can start reading the book. So, off I settled on my favorite spot later in the day yesterday, and started flipping the pages. I’m so engrossed, and at the rate I’m going I’d be done reading this book in a few days granting that I don’t get many bad days (my allergic rhinitis) in the coming days.
I’m only done with a few chapters, and as far as I’m concerned, there is not much change in my mind set when it comes to handling money because my husband and I have been aligned with Ms. Orman’s line of thinking since the market tanked a few years ago. The experience of losing much on papers (on our investments) was stressful but it made us stronger and instead of losing our faith and give up on what was already there, we held on and it’s been slowly inching up.
Yes, our American dream is still alive. Is it the same as it was 10 years ago? For us, thankfully it is , and we think that it only needs some minor tweaking so we can get there in no time.
Although I’m not yet done reading the book, I can say that this is a very enlightening book and a powerful tool while facing the new economic times. You should get your copy, that is, if you are interested in facing your sustainable, honest and new truth.
