This has been the harshest winter thus far in my almost twelve years of living here in New York. I can say that I’m one of the many who are brutally affected with the extremely cold temps because of a severe cold that I have been trying to fight for almost one month.
Whenever I head out, the pesky cold comes back regardless of how I’m dressed, and needless to say that I’m always bundled up like an Eskimo. I can’t help but think about those pet dogs of many New Yorkers who need to take their walk regardless of the weather. And during these extremely cold season, outfitting these dogs with dog vests are definitely a must.
Incidentally, I salute those charitable organizations who are looking after the welfare of the many neglected and abandoned dogs. In the midst of these uncertain economic climate, tons of these dos are in need of tender loving care on top of the basic dog vests that is deemed important during the winter season. I’ve heard of the freedom flights that are carried out by Canadian based OrangeDog, whose main purpose is to provide freedom flights and rescue these abandoned dogs from California to Canada.
After all, those colorful dog vests are are not what’s solely needed to keep these pet dogs warm. Loving hands as well as caring home are the ultimate necessity to keep these lovable pets alive who in turn give much joy to mankind.
