Just when almost everyone included : “conscious effort to eat more healthy” as one of their New Year’s resolutions as the year unfolded, we did the exact opposite.
Two big plates of sinful breakfast treats greeted me on New Year’s day.
This was the only healthy part of the brunch.

Don’t get fooled by the plate of my husband. You can see bits and pieces of mixed veggies alright, but under the pieces of bread is a big slab of pork chop. How’s that for his choice of food for brunch?
Oh, I’m not the culprit here. This was my husband’s idea of starting the year right (lol). These were all brought in from La Diva.
I will take this treat from him anytime. I count this as his version of breakfast in bed. I wonder when’s the next treat?
