These are my captures while at the windy military road over scenic Sally Gap at the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. I wished we had more time in the area, but it was freezing because of very strong winds. In spite of the beautiful scenery, none of us stayed out long enough to roam around and take in the sights. I wonder if I would have been able to stay outside longer if I was wearing muck boots. I had a pair of boots on that day, but it was certainly not warm enough.
Our tour guide who was a witty Irish man had a shot of whiskey dispensed in disposable whiskey glasses ready for each of us when we went back to the bus. It was a nice gesture but I was one of the two people in the group who said: “no, thanks.” Who was the other one? My husband! He is a copy machine, so he copied me (lol).
