I’ve had my share of breakouts during my teenage years but I’m very glad that they were not the type that was out of control. As we all know, treating acne is like hit and miss. You can not really treat it, the key is to control it. I’ve learned that from my Dermatologist.
Adult acne is prevalent, which may be surprising to many, and I’m not spared from it. I also have zits once in a while, but they are not the kind that makes me go nuts. I just ensure not to pick on them. At this stage, I don’t think I would be willing to have to go through acne scar removal. When I was young, there was this thought that I had the free pass to pick on my zits because I knew I will outgrow the marks and it will fade. That changed as soon as I entered adulthood.
How about you, do you still pick on your zits? You have to admit it, doing it sends a certain high. Or is it just me that gets high?
