Right on Cropsey Avenue off the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, the newly opened Parkview Diner is now cooking up finger licking foods. It’s only been a few weeks since we heard of the opening, so off we went for brunch yesterday.
What can I say, the diner did not disappoint. From the previous diner that used to be housed in the same building, Parkview is a total departure from what it used to be. While the layout is still the same, the totally refurbished interior looks great. Parking is not an issue. Even with the limited parking available, we learned from the owner that customers can freely park at the nearby lot of a supermarket. Just like any new establishment though, glitches do occur. Considering that we went there at what is considered peak hour, we were seated immediately but we waited for our order for twenty minutes.
But it was well worth the wait. The food is awesome and even if we only tried a couple of dishes in their mammoth menu, our taste buds agreed with the foods. This place is definitely a keeper. With its very accessible location, we can see ourselves going back for more.
