I’m done with my sclerotherapy series of treatment (for mild case of spider veins), and I’m so ecstatic. For now, I finally bid adieu to my spider veins and say hello to mini skirts and shorts sans unsightly marks. Do I sound like it’s a temporary goodbye? Oh yes! I was told by my doctor that they can recur. In fact, I should really know for sure because I had the same procedure done many years ago when I was still living in the Philippines.
Hello summer! I’m ready to deal with the hot and humid temps here in the Big Apple, and an upcoming sojourn.
Done as I am with sclerotheraphy, I still have some treatments left to complete with my Dermatologist. In the past few weeks that I have been visiting the Dermatologist, I was a bit surprised to find out that people seeking adult acne treatment is not such an isolated case. I’ve met and exchanged pleasantries with them while at the waiting room. Nowadays, though, if you are vigilant, adult acne can be controlled. The proof? I saw visible improvements on the same patients that I met in the past few weeks.
If there is one doctor that I wouldn’t mind visiting over and over again, there’s no one else but my Dermatologist (the Derma that I go to for vanity’s sake (lol), because I go to two Dermatologists, the other one is for medical reasons). She has very efficient staff and I’m pleased with the minimal waiting time. Plus, I get free coffee or tea and pastries or whatever I prefer every time – little perks, in exchange of premium fees because insurance does not pay.
