In my entire lifetime, I never went into buying frenzy and went gaga over baby clothes. If you know me really well, you must know why. This stay at home wife is an ’empty nester’ (not really, I’m just using the word to make it light) not by choice but by His will. Sure, we tried our best and even sought the help of experts for the latest scientific alternatives that are available for a hefty sum but none worked.
Now, we have finally accepted His will.
The chances that I found myself buying baby clothes can be summed up into these few occasions:
1. when my nieces and nephews were babies. not a lot though because I only have two nieces and three nephews.
2. when we get invited to attend baby showers.
However, I drool over those cute baby clothes when I chance upon one. There are a lot of fancy styles especially those clothes for baby girls. Sometimes, I can’t help but imagine what could have been a potential outfit for my baby girl. Friends and family know how my husband and I fancied the idea of having a girl more so, if we only had one chance of having one.
That never happened though, and for now, that is already a fancy that passed.
