I’m just using the fingers on my left hand to write this post. For the past few days, I found it hard to do all the tasks that I used to do and every chore takes a lot longer to complete.
I have inadvertently mangled my right thumb while loading the washer when I did my laundry this week, and the base of that thumb and consequently the palm of my right hand is painful and swollen. I’m ambidextrous and so I thought I can easily swift through chores and tasks but I found it the hard way. Clicking the cordless mouse of my laptop is easy, as it is designed to accommodate both a rightie and a leftie but typing using the fingers on my left hand takes a lot of time. I’ve been meaning to write about the impressive rack card printing of the sales event on a store that I recently went to lately but I will do that as soon as I right hand is back on commission.
For now, I’ll have to wait for the swelling to subside and the pain to finally go away. My palm still look raw and reddish. I’m glad that there’s no bruise (or maybe, that will come later). Regular pain killer helped the past few days. I’m hoping that I will not have to pop another pain pill again.
