Fine dining at Cafe Carlyle at The Carlyle Hotel was awesome. Our 7:00 p.m. dinner reservation proved to be just the perfect time and we didn’t have to rush through our dinner. As I mentioned in a prior post, it was a night of gastronomical indulgence as you will see in the pictures below. I have to admit though, that it was really great to dine and have more normal portions, indulging on more normal dishes without dietary restrictions. Suddenly, I realized that I missed the more salty foods that I’m used to. After all, we’ve been subsisting on food delivery for three months already.
Yes, we enjoyed a night of great food and good music.

we started with carlyle lobster bisque each

fillet mignon with asparagus, truffled potato, au poivre sauce

wild king salmon with fennel, tomato, kalamata olives, artichoke confit bouillabaisse jus

sauteed wild mushroom


cappucino for me/ harney & sons tea for the hubby

creme brulee

warm berries crumble with vanilla ice cream
