This time of the year, I always get offers for term life ins from different pre-need companies. I wonder why. My husband also gets his share although both of us already have life insurance policies in force. In fact, because my husband is drawn to insurances we have coverage on all the basic insurances including jewelry and that umbrella insurance policy.
You want to hear how insane he is with insurance? He also insisted on getting appliance coverage. For now, our kitchen appliances are all covered under the manufacturer’s service coverage. And they are not new as the pieces are now about 10 years old except the dishwasher. We pay the premium on these every two years. I’m contemplating on not renewing the service contract this Fall. After all, if one of the appliance breaks down it may be less of a burden if we just replace and get a new one instead of calling for an on-site repair which the policy covers.
See? I have an insurance man in the house.

Ay naku…our washer/dryer combo eh more 1 yr pa lang but we already called repair people kasi palpak. M swore he won’t buy from the same maker anymore kasi problema sila since day 1.

Uy Pebrero na naman….and the countdown begins for your birthday! Hahaha…at saka valentine’s day pala & F’s bday. Sabi ng bata dito….do you think Dad will get me chocolates again for Valentine’s Day? O di ba nasanay….haha….

Frigidaire ang brand ng lahat ng appliances namin, Tuks except of the TV. Yung door ng washer hindi na aligned after a couple of months. Somebody came to fix it…after a few weeks, di naman aligned so they replaced the door. What do you know, the same thing happened. We didn’t call anymore. M fixed it himself and it’s been ok na since then. Ang dryer naman, nag clog ata yung vent somewhere [wherever it leads to...haha] so I had to run 3 cycles for each load…kakainis. M had to go up the attic to see….and since we didn’t have a good experience sa mga repair people nila, M just got a vent cleaner and will clean it himself when the cleaner gets here. Kakainis….
