One lazy afternoon last week, with an all too willing assistant in the kitchen (the husband), I came up with another imperfect cake (one of the many, actually).
This is white cake with my all time favorite whipped cream icing and adorned and filled with fruit cocktail. Simply a product of my imagination! This is a cake that looks unappealing but it was sinfully delicious.
My ever spoiled husband complained: “it would have tasted a lot better if you used fresh fruits.” You can bet, I gave him my ’signature’ look after hearing that comment. LOL.

Aba at spoiled nga….hahaha. Oo nga naman at baket hindi fresh fruits….hahaha…ginatungan daw o! Nah, I’m sure fresh or not so fresh fruits, that cake disappeared in thin air.

yes, the whipped cream is very spreadable. as I said, it is very imperfect and I can’t blame you for thinking the fruit topping looks like cottage cheese. I’m just a disaster in decorating haha.
