Practice Makes Perfect

I intended to devote the whole afternoon to watch cake decorating techniques videos, but I got caught up on reading articles about fat burner supplement. My sister told me about her secret to her recent weight loss and that is why I was very interested to read up on them. I know, baking and losing weight does not exactly go together, but I can’t give up my dream on becoming a baker even only just the baker for my family.

I have resorted to buying ready made icings to practice on. I do not use them for my cakes though, because I find them too sweet. They come in handy when I feel like playing around with my pastry bag and practice using the different tips. It’s not easy for a novice like me. Sometimes I get too frustrated that I just STOP, more so when I can’t get the right angle and the leaves and petals look like one messy art.

No, I don’t want to quit. I know that in due time, I can do it!
