Get Active!

The birth of the internet has made our world a lot smaller let alone, more well informed. Isn’t it awesome? Just a while ago, I got very interested with SOGO Active because of the website’s cool and interesting design. Right away, I started to click on the links and boy, was it refreshing to find a site that promotes involvement of the youth on getting more active. As we are all aware, obesity is an ongoing battle worldwide. With Sogo Active’s objective inВ  getting the youth to get moving, it can help fight the ongoing battle of the bulges. The youth when they are more active, makes for a healthier body as well as sharper minds.

It is also worth noting that Coca-Cola Canada retained ParticipACTION as the national voice of physical activity and sport participation in Canada. The company is committed to take part in the design and implementation of SOGO Active, the one of a kind approach to inspire the youth through group activity within the community.

Oh, and if you want to take the challenge and join you have the chance to be selected by Coca-Cola to become a Torchbearer for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.

I really find this site very futuristic too. Even if I’m way past my youth, because the site’s design is very engaging, I can’t help but keepВ  clicking on the links. The design and concept done by ParticipACTION, enables young Canadians to alter, design and control their very own individual get active plan. And, you should see the inspiring stories of a couple of youths who emerged from the couch to the winner’s podium. Really, very uplifting!

Now, I won’t blame you if you check this site out and say, it is indeed the sickest way to live healthy.
