It’s the day after Christmas, are you now rested? Here in the US, today is another big shopping day, and once again, I’m sure that instead of relaxing at home, many will head out to the stores. Many stores have opened very early, because as it has been customary for many people, they are now going to use up gift cards or cash that they received as presents. Lucky them, right? A lot of the people flocking the stores today are going to return and or exchange presents that they are not too happy with, that is, if the giver of the present gave them that gift receipt.
We (my husband and I) also got a gift card, but we are not in a hurry to use it up. Besides, I don’t want to brave the crowds. My sister was generous enough to give us a Verizon Wireless gift card as one of their presents to us. Yes, we have been intending to get new phones because we are still using our 3 year old cell phones. This gift card will certainly buy us great units. I’m glad that she picked Verizon because we want to stay with them. My husband gets a corporate discount (part of his benefits) for our service, that’s why.
