When I went to Manhattan a few days ago, I did most of my shopping at Saks. I actually made the store my last stop because after shopping, I wanted to get a glimpse of the giant Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center when the sun had already set. That is apart from the fact that Saks is my favorite department store in town, because I get the attention that I deserve there. Not that I’m seeking attention, but they simply know how to take care of their loyal patron.
As expected every year, they have the window display. I would have wanted to take shots but the line of people on queue was too long, I didn’t have the patience to wait. I snapped some photos inside and the exterior of the store so I’m posting them here.
Even with the lights though, nothing compares to the glitter of glittery Las Vegas. For the several times that I’ve been to Las Vegas, the strip does not fail to mesmerize me every time. That is why, with the possibility of a real bad winter season right here, I can’t help but check into las vegas hotel reservations. If the price is right, hying off to Vegas for a week in the winter would be great. Oh, and it’s the start of the new year, the husband will have his 5 weeks of vacation days still unused. A week in Vegas would definitely be a treat!
