On A Rush

I need to send those holiday cards going overseas by Friday the latest. I don’t know what I was thinking, but this year is even worse than last year. At this time last year, they were already sent out. Knowing how snail mail can be so delayed at this time of the year, I should have planned better. Honestly, I don’t even have a single card made yet. I have a card maker and I might as well just peruse it so I can beat my deadline. I still have a few of the Crane cards from last year but that will be for some of the people around here in the US. If my plans materialize, I will be able to drop by Crane’s right by Rockefeller Center, so that will take care of the rest of the cards to be sent out around here.

You see, no matter how I set out some objectives and plan ahead, some plans can get derailed, just like the plan to switch our car insurance coverage. We are still stuck with our insurer because I did not have enough time to comparison shop. I know that rates can vary by so much, so it always pays to do a thorough research.

Whatever it is that we set out to do, if we only stick to specific timings, everything should go as planned. But such is life, and we’re bound to change course as we go.

Ay naku Tuks, hopefully the mail will be faster this year…wishful thinking? I’ve been having problems with mails not getting where they should go actually. I stopped sending birthday cards to my family/friends because of that. Sana makarating yung cards ko for them…

      Have a great day….

      @ Juliana

I used to have that same issue with mails when sending cards back home. They are not delivered to the recipient.

I thought they were being opened by the mailman in the hope of finding cash. You know what I did? I would send cards sealed only with a sticker, so that if they opened it they can seal it back nicely and the recipient will get the card. Pronto! It worked and has been working. I don’t know why they would open those cards, eh di naman ako nagpapadala ng money hehe.
