A Wise Choice

Very early in life, I was very well aware of the value of life insurance. Why? Because as a child, I had my own life insurance policy paid for by my parents. When I was already making my own money however, I didn’t waste time and went ahead  to shop for my own whole life policy. I remember calling several Insurance Agents and requested life insurance quotes. I thought it was that easy to decide which policy to get but because of very aggressive Agents it was hard to make a choice. They were all the same whole life policy but not all the terms were the same.

To this day, my whole life policy is still  with Manulife of Canada, now on its self supporting option. Thanks Cherry (my agent), for helping me make a wise choice. Nowadays however, getting a life insurance policy is now much easier. With the convenience of online quotes, you can decide a lot sooner.

I believe, having a life insurance policy in place is a very valuable protection. You’ll never know what tomorrow brings. Which reminds me to mention just now, that the close family friend battling cancer ( I wrote about that here a few days ago) right now has no policy in place. It’s a sad situation, but whatever reasons they may have for not having one in place, is for him and his wife’s prerogative.
