Errands… when will they ever disappear? The last time I went out was last Monday. Today, I saw myself heading out the door at 11:00 a.m. So not me, but I had to get up early if I wanted to accomplish what I set out to do for the day. Good thing, I didn’t run into any congestion on the parkways.
Wal-Mart was a breeze, likewise Target. Oh, by now you may be asking yourself why I need to go to two stores. I actually wanted to go to Costco, but I brushed it aside because I knew I was not going to be able to get everything that I wanted to buy from there, as they don’t carry every single household goodies. Costco shopping will have to wait for now. Besides, I went alone and I always want to have the DH with me when I go to Costco because of the bulky items there(you know the humongous packaging they offer).
And there was a third store… the Filipino store. I seldom go to the area, so being that I was within the perimeters already I went ahead and picked up some goodies, enough to make me spend $120 worth of Pinoy goods. I can’t help it. Whenever I come across one, I always end up buying more than I need. In fact, they are just wants.
There’s the post office, the bank and the gas station. What a day! Before I knew it, it was already almost 5:00 p.m. and the trick and treaters were already out on the streets. Definitely exhausting but I feel good knowing we are well stocked with essentials.
