It’s been a year since I last wore any disposable contact lenses. I have been a slave to it for many years, actually since I graduated college, and I have reached the point where I don’t want to deal with the cumbersome application and care anymore. While I’m used to wearing eyeglasses then only at night, now I wear eyeglasses all the time specially when I head out of the house, as I’m nearsighted.
With that said, I have been using three eyeglasses to fit my moods and stytle, all of which costs me an arm and a leg when they were purchased. Imagine my reaction when I found about Zenni Optical eyeglasses through ClarkHoward.com. They are and have been offering $8 basic eyeglasses to consumers and believe me, they are very stylish and certainly don’t look cheap. Take a look at my favorite:
Now, you must be wondering why and how in the world can they offer numerous styles of eyepieces at such very low prices. This is because they sell their manufactured frames direct to the public without any middlemen. In fact, they are doing away without any advertising budget to speak of.
With the affordable prices, building a collection to suit ones mood and style would enable one to switch eyeglasses as often as we change clothes. Isn’t that awesome?
