Today, marks the anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. What a somber day here where I live, in the Big Apple.
Last night, before I and my husband went to sleep, I didn’t forget to remind him to be extra careful at work, as you’ll never know. He works with a Wall Street firm at the Financial District, and every year when this day comes, I’m always edgy.
It’s a day that will be forever remembered, a tragedy that no one thought was possible. Now, we remember this day each year, as we are united in a common memory and a common story.
