Hanna, Ike And Josephine

Did I hear it right? Yes, we are not only watching two hurricanes, there’s Josephine too. Here in New York, it is forecasted that we will be feeling the effects of Hanna, more so to those that are living within the coastline, and of course, we are, as we are just a stone’s throw away from the beach. In fact, as I’m writing this post, it’s already raining. I am hoping that the wind gust won’t be that bad. I have moved my veggie containers closer to the walls on the balcony because I’m afraid that they will be damaged. I have a good quantity of eggplant and okra ready to harvest probably in a week.

Having Hanna is bad enough, but there’s two more following in the horizon and they are now closely being watched. We don’t expect to get hit directly, but if the direction does not change, the weathermen predicts we will be getting a good dumping of rain and gusty wind.

I guess, over the weekend, we will just stay indoors sheltered while breathing in clean air courtesy of IQAir air purifier. With a good book, I will definitely be a happy camper.
